Bags of Fun
Share
In my studio I keep a box of things found in day-to-day life that can make interesting surfaces for artworks - including paper bags. Here's a painting capturing the front of the queue at a seaside amusement park.
It's one of several works on this same subject, one of which can be seen here. I like that you can imagine all sorts of things about the two people involved, their exchange and their relationship.
Bags of Fun, acrylic on paper bag, 42 x 32 cm (excl. handles), 2024.
An oil painting on canvas is also currently drying and awaiting varnishing. I'll post here when it's ready to share. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, just ask by using the contact link in the top menu.
