Pre-release: Study of Seaweed

This little artwork is the very first fully completed and framed piece in Receding Tides, a now-growing collection which I hope to exhibit in its entirety in the next year or two.

It speaks quietly of the simple joy that can be felt in slowing down to look at nature.  

I often keep paper bags, bits of cardboard and little boxes, and loved the warm tones of this one for a painting surface.

It has been professionally framed, and is now waiting patiently for its time to be shown.  It won't be released in the shop until then, but if you are falling in love with it and would like to reserve it for your collection, you just need to get in touch with me using the contact link in the top menu.
